Everyone Welcome

Community Meals

A weekly, shared meal

The Fernwood Community Meal is a weekly, shared meal where neighbors come together to eat, connect, and build community. It’s a simple, welcoming space rooted in dignity, care, and the belief that food is a powerful way to bring people together.

Meals are house-cooked and shared around tables with people of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you come on your own or with family, you’re welcome here.

We have space to serve up to 70 people per meal. We strive to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, and other dietary needs, but cannot always guarantee availability. Please bring your own container if you would like to take the meal to go.

Holiday Meal

We like to do something special to bring people together during the winter holiday season. Typically held in the first weeks of December, we host a Holiday Meal which offers everything our regular Community Meal does with some added holiday spirit and festivities.
