Best Babies serves pregnant and post-partum people with children ages 0-1 year. This program aims to support low-income families in the Fernwood community. The program runs on Tuesdays out of the Quadra Village Community Centre and on Wednesdays and Thursdays out of the Fernwood Community Centre. Sessions open with a shared meal and are followed by an educational topic and discussion led by staff and various community professionals such as public health nurses, dieticians, oral hygienists, and more. Participants are welcome to bring their infant’s siblings and/or a support person. Introduce your children to the richness of Mexican dance, culture, and tradition through this engaging weekly program. Participants will enjoy dance instruction in Spanish, explore traditional Mexican music, learn about cultural practices, and showcase their new skills through performances. Interested?
